"What do you think about Christmas Ella???"
"Uuuuuummmm...... well, I love it."
(well said cutie girl)
This is my baby. The last of five amazing people I had the pleasure of bringing into the world. They are at the top of my goals, motivations, joys, and obligations. And I don't take it lightly.
I know my responsibilities.
I know these mini-people like no one else ever will.
And I am constantly working to teach them more.
Whatever your beliefs, for me I feel a sacred responsibility to teach them what the birth of a tiny Savior in a manger means to me -- how it's shaped my life and changed the way I treat those around me regardless of how I'm treated. If I can plant that tiny spark of faith in their hearts, then I know they will never be alone. They will have direction when I'm not there to direct, and hope when I'm not there to encourage.
This year as you rush around to parties, events, and sparkling shops the world around, I hope you take the time to hug those you love and to spread a little extra cheer in the world -- sprinkle it like confetti. Because you never know how much a little Christmas joy can light up someone's day.
Merry, Merry Christmas!
All my love,
